The historic building underwent major renovations in 1999 to modernize the store while recreating the look and feel of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. Proprietors Barbara and Neil Humphreys, along with daughters Mary and Gloria and son Paul, have taken great care to preserve the tradition of ice cream excellence that has become synonomous with the Springer's name.
